This is the third piece in my steel/mixed metal mask series. This piece speaks to living a lifestyle where everything is a conquest, a battle to be won. This woman is powerful, strong, independent creature and you don't want to be on her bad side...Just another figure that makes up the beautiful world we live in. As the series develops further I am beginning to think that this is the purpose; to create through the whole series a portrait of our world. Some characters emerging form Beneath their veils-showing the world what they have to offer- some Embracing their anchors, integrating and taking advantage of the things that once weighed them down- or in this case, moving confidently through life, undeniably owning her place at the top of the food chain.
